Community Relations
COMMUNITY
RELATIONS
In this digital era, interacting with consumers face-to-face still remains one of the best ways to engage. For this reason, one of our specialties includes establishing and executing community relations programs so that you can gain the support and trust of local organizations, businesses, and leaders on a more personal level. A solid program not only familiarizes customers with your brand, but the in-person interactions with your brand representatives can also help establish leads and build long-term relationships that may not have happened otherwise.
We fully understand the power of creating a visual impact on the streets to drive home a message. For example, a publicity stunt can be a powerful method of delivering a message that can be shared via social media or broadcast by mainstream media. For instance, a past publicity stunt involved the “dumping” of 1,200 body bags at the headquarters of a major tobacco company to exhibit the daily deaths caused by cigarettes.

Case Study
Small businesses are vital to the United States economy; however, a 2022 survey found that 27 percent have little to no online presence. Some factors contributing to the problem include a lack of finances, knowledge, and guidance to build, implement, and maintain a digital strategy. Unfortunately, this was also true for some small businesses and nonprofits in Norwalk, California.
From July 2023 to January 2024, Lezama Consulting partnered with the Norwalk Chamber of Commerce to launch the Digitize Norwalk project. Lezama Consulting developed this program to offer free bilingual services to local businesses and nonprofits, including virtual and in-person workshops dealing with platforms like Yelp, Facebook, Instagram, and Google. Additionally, we created website templates and provided consulting services in areas such as social media marketing plan development and Meta tools training.
A strong online presence can positively affect branding, sales, and acquiring and retaining customers. Recognizing this, dozens of small businesses and nonprofits from Norwalk participated in the program, including TNT Fireworks, YMCA Whittier, Kiwanis 605, Sarco Accounting, and many others. Digitize Norwalk was made possible through funding provided by the City of Norwalk.
